JUMO ecoLine Lf-PVC - conductieve geleidbaarheidsmeetcellen (202923)

Conductivity measuring cell of the 202923 series are used, for instance, in general water treatment, cooling and air conditioning system technology, drinking and swimming pool water treatment or in industrial rinsing and process water circuits. The PVC material used for the body limits the use to maximum medium temperatures of 55°C. Two versions with cell constants K=0.1 or 1.0 are available.
As installation variants, versions with the widely used thread sizes G3/4" or G1", or a push-in variant are available. The push-in version is used, for instance, with the matching PVC-T pieces in the following nominal sizes: DN25, 32 and 40. It allows quick removal of the probe for cleaning and maintenance purposes. The electrical connection is optional either by a disconnectable device plug or a permanent cable connection.
The entire configuration and the components coming into contact with the medium are physiologically uncritical. The electrode materials are stainless steel (K=0.1) or special graphite (K=1.0). The optionally integrating temperature probe permits simultaneous recording of the medium temperature for temperature compensation in downstream measuring amplifiers.
Stainless steel variant K=0.1:
The measuring cell has 3 metal pin electrodes. The two outer pins are electrically connected and form one pole of the two-electrode measuring cell. The center stainless steel pin is the counter-electrode. With this configuration, a very high measuring accuracy with low stray fields is accomplished. A temperature probe can be integrated in the center pin.
Graphite variant K=1.0:
For physical reasons, special graphite is used as electrode material for higher conductivity values. The two graphite electrodes are completely integrated in the electrode shaft. The optional temperature probe is located in a stainless steel sleeve immersing into the medium to be measured.
